Training animals to perform such complex actions takes a lot of time and patience.

While the doggie is the star of the show, in a way this video also captures a facet of human achievement. |Witnessing something well done by man always has a salutary effect on the spirit.

True. Maybe it is the innate bonding and empathy among humans.

Lovely. Much more sophisticated than the routines they teach monkeys in Pakistan.

You'd have to train him, Usman. I doubt if you would be able to find a trained one for sale. It would cost a small fortune if such a one was available.

Even talking parrots that speak maybe a couple or three routine phrases cost tens of thousand rupees in Pakistan.

For some, work is play.

Grey parrots are always expensive. They cost  a fortune here too.

I was talking about the ordinary green parrots found in Pakistan. Greys and other exotic species are imported, require a lot of specialized care, and are very, very, expensive.

These ordinary greens used to be around a 100 rupees a decade ago, now they cost more than 5,000 for a young one.

For some, work is play.

How much would a trained doggie like this cost?

Trained household pets are a costly commodity. Ordinary parrots that can talk a bit fetch tens of thousands PKR.
